• We make it a regular practice, within the limits of the law, to give back -- through charitable means -- to those communities that we serve.
• We have a human resource expert and a human resource attorney on staff to help our clients with those problems that go beyond the issues of everyday business. For most questions / situations, these specialists can be accessed through us -- at no cost to you.
• We publish a bi-monthly newsletter -- exclusively for our clients and their advisors on timely employee benefits topics.
• We conduct seminars from time to time for our clients and their advisors on timely employee benefits topics.

Bob Feen

Robert S. Feen, CLU CIC has been in the insurance business for thirty three years -- concentrating on employee benefits since 1978. Bob founded The Benefits Group in 1992, and since that time, the company has grown by over 800% in size and in revenues. Bob is a well known industry speaker and spokesman, and has served on the advisory councils of Aetna, Anthem, CBIA, MD Healthplan and MedSpan. He is the only two term chairman of CT Benefit Brokers. Bob resides with his family in Hamden, CT.

Sue Hanover started out as the "new girl" at our prior firm twenty three years ago, beginning as a secretary/receptionist, becoming administrative assistant. For the past twelve years, Sue has been the office manager for The Benefits Group. As a matter of fact, Bob Feen and Sue opened the door to The Benefits Group on July 3, 1992. She and her husband reside in Cheshire, CT.

Julie Chubet has seventeen years of experience in employee benefits business -- having started out as an after school intern with our predecessor firm. Her special areas of expertise are in group benefits and pensions. Julie graduated with honors from Central Connecticut State University with a degree in economics. Professionally, Julie has served on Anthem's Broker Advisory Council -- and on their Compensation Committee. Julie is an avid golfer, and resides with her family in Southington, CT.

Kerry Pelletier has been with The Benefits Group since 1993, graduating from the University of Rhode Island with a bachelor's degree. She found a home at The Benefits Group quickly after graduation, and discovered that she was unusually gifted in helping business owners and their employees navigate through the confusing world of group benefits, particularly health benefits. Starting out as an Administrative Assistant, Kerry has since developed her own, "book of business" and has a very loyal client following. Kerry and her family reside in Cheshire, CT.

Lisa Splain has been with The Benefits Group since 1999. Lisa has over nineteen years of experience in the insurance industry, the last ten years in employee benefits. Lisa began her career with The Hartford after having received a degree in Computer Science. Lisa is our account manager for many of our key clients. She is particularly gifted in establishing a close working relationship with our client's office manager and human resource experts. Lisa and her family reside in Cheshire, CT.

A New York native, Linda Jamele has been in the insurance industry for twenty years, starting her career as our prior firm's "after school" intern. Linda specializes in handling complex medical claims and appeals, at which she is extraordinarily gifted. Linda also does our individual life and disability insurance underwriting. Linda and her family reside in Cheshire, CT.
